The Collective Art Exhibition at CCR from the Illustrators Forum has begun! Ten short stories from Roberto Arlt are the excuse to show the art of 250 illustrators. They are wonderful, different, creative, some are jolly others cruel, ironic or naive. Just as the illustrator interpreted the tale, using their style, their materials, their imagination.
Guess what? This is my contribution. It’s about the short story titled: “A Chair on the Sidewalk”, in which Arlt talks about the Buenos Aires habit of meeting in the street, sitting down and having a chat with the neighbours or complete strangers. I’m happy to be there, too!

Comenzó la muestra del Foro de Ilustradores en el CCR! Solamente 10 relatos cortos de Roberto Arlt han sido la excusa para reunir a 250 ilustradores. Son maravillosas, diferentes, creativas, algunas felices y otras crueles, irónicas o ingenuas. Simplemente, como el dibujante haya interpretado a los cuentos, usando su estilo, sus materiales e imaginación.
Adivina qué? Esta es mi contribución. Es sobre el cuento de Arlt: “Silla en la Vereda”, en el cual se habla del hábito de los porteños de encontrarse en las calles, sentarse y compartir un rato con vecinos o extraños paseantes. Estoy contentísima de estar también allí!
